Rules of Thumb
WHY WE PICKED IT:
What exactly is a rule of thumb? It’s a memorable device to help you make a guess. Like if you need to measure something but don’t have a ruler, know that a quarter is about the size of an inch. Better put by them, it “turns information you have into information you need.” A site whose sole purpose is to compile these bits of knowledge? Sounds darn useful.
