Eats is awesome! Great restaurant guides and it’s cool like facebook

Sure, the interface isn’t perfect — YET — but the site’s brand new and you can see a lot of potential here. Myspace and Facebook were looking pretty rough in the beginning, but they’re pretty slick at the moment.
Anyway, it’s like Yelp meets Facebook, with a side of Serious Eats.
To be honest, it’s still rough around the edges, but I believe in eats.com, fellow foodies! Over the past month or so, the website’s content has already improved by 200%, so you can only imagine what it’s going to look like a month or two from now. In any case, it’s certainly buzzworthy.

I like the Foodie News section…but they’ve really got to get it together with the layouts. The actual articles are way cool, but for serious, the layout and itty bitty pictures are sooper SAD. I’m mixed. I like reading the stuff on there, but if my friend hadn’t linked me to an article, I wouldn’t have checked it out. Visually, they really need to get it together. It looks BO-RING.
